Casino Del Sol is a highly themed 200,000 square foot Class III gaming facility located southwest of Tucson, Arizona. This is the second casino for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and the construction cost was approximately $65 Million. Amfabsteel provided a single source for structural engineering, detailing, fabrication and erection for both the structural and miscellaneous steel packages. The project was completed in two phases. Phase I consisted of a creating 70,000 square foot facility to temporarily operate up to 500 slots and a 4,400 seat amphitheater. Phase II of the project completed the build-out of the casino and completion of the entire entertainment facility. The amphitheater is designed to house a variety of social and cultural events with a strong emphasis on a summer concert series for the Tucson regional area.
